Gamifications

Gamification refers to the use and transfer of game mechanisms to non-player contexts. Gamifications exploit the human play instinct to motivate the user to deal with the learning content offered and to solve tasks. Through the use of playful elements, the reward system in the brain gets activated and thus increases the intrinsic motivation for the respective learning topic. On the other hand, gamifications promote autonomous and independent learning.
